“Demokratielabore” is a project of the Open Knowledge Foundation Germany, in which we conduct workshops on digital, technological and social issues with young people in youth centers. We encourage them to actively participate in society. Working with data and the processes of digitization are also becoming more and more important for non-profit organizations. In order to find out how the data work in NGOs from the education sector looks like and where there are still potentials, we carry out a needs analysis and show in our two-day workshop which tools help data-driven work and how to tell good stories with data.
The project “Demokratielabore” is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth in the framework of the Federal program “Demokratie leben!” and by The Federal Agency for Civic Education.
